Yea, if they think there going to add something in the future they will put some of the content for it in ahead of time, which is why characters have crew interactions with people who cant become crew (or are even in the game), portraits for characters who aren't written or for transformations they don't have (like in COC2 turning Isadora into a Bovine). There were a lot of planned Crew that is left over in the code, the list on the wiki is the shortlist.

Obviously a most of these are never going to happen. The Wiki even removed the planned list. Lund, Vark, & Roo lack Crew references. Also Roo isn't a real NPC, they exist entirely within the Blackjack scene.

Man i would have loved to have at least half of those people as a crew mates...but hey I guess we got the medical droid from the tutorial as one so small victories.

Everyone here but Leila is just a name.isCrew() function, and most of these don't make sense anymore for one reason or another.

  • Embry - JimThermic (Last seen 2015)
  • Kelly - Quiet Browser (last seen 2023, doesn't seem to have written since 2018 or earlier)
Unlikely
  • Emmy - Last content drop 2016
  • Fisianna - Their character doesn't make sense to be crew (something the writer has said themselves)

  • Mitch - Got content as recently as 2023 & bug-fixes in 2024.
  • Paulette - Literally who? Its the Zaika on Tarkus. Added 2023 & bug-fixes in 2024.
  • Lund & Vark - The writer, Damiekinz mentioned last month they are actively working on them.

I mean crew mates don't even do anything in this game i just would like them on my ship even though I know it'll never happen

Theres some other flags you can adjust to get different responses as well, if you change the flag for Nerrasa [The person at Uveto station who sells heating belts] if you changea flag that says how many times you've sexed her, their dialog changes. FYI they seem to be planned to be a dominant character.

So there is quite a bit of hidden but planned dialog options and what not, much of that all being VERY old, like back when it was still Adobe? (I think it was adobe) So it could be that they've been forgotten about or just busy focusing on other content.

Quick question: for ship-installation devices like the Egg Trainer, if you were to swap your main ship with another, would the device be automatically moved to the new ship or would you have to move it manually?

The "ship upgrades/devices" will be moved without loss. Same to "ship cargo". Always.

The "ship modules" and "ship weapons" will be converted into money, if not enough space for them (order of sale - from low to top). The only issue - pirate ship: when you`ll try to hijack him, all "ship modules and weapons" that won`t fit will be tossed into space.

Some turbo loser threw insults at some nerd after they deemed them racist for not liking rappers. Said nerd (also a loser) took that as a social queue to post gore because the internet was oh so much more hardcore back in the day and people will surely toughen up again if they do here what would be the equivalent of shitting on the table during christmas dinner.
